History

Founding

A few short years ago, the current directors of our organization decided to create MTSNC to give everyone who is interested, the opportunity to help those in need.

Our organization began with the help of a grant from Petsmart Charities. We continued fundraisers to raise enough money in a years time to open our doors Jan. 2010. In our first year our organization has spayed or neutered over 1,000 pets.

Our facilities are located at 738 B. North Main St. Shelbybville, TN

Thanks to the generousity of Anna Wilhoite we are located in the back of Bookkeeping Xpress. Anna donates our space for free without Anna and her family we could not have had the continued success we have experienced.

Even though we are located in Bedford County TN we serve all of Middle Tennessee. We are currently open on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Thursdays are our rescue day, we try to schedule surgeries for the rescues, shelters, etc. We are by appointment only. We hope to expand to more days soon.
